An image-heavy directory and contest platform for the world's best wedding photographers.
World's Best Wedding Photos is a curated directory and photography contest platform, showcasing and helping hire the best wedding photographers worldwide. The brief called for fast, aggressive turnaround, with the product design filled in as-needed rather than fully specified up front.
The design had to serve two very different groups well: photographers submitting and managing thousands of high-resolution images, and the internal team categorising all of it. That meant designing upload and organisation flows that stayed simple for photographers while giving the admin side the density and control a large photo library actually needs.
SEO was a design consideration from the start, not a post-launch fix - clean, crawlable page structures that also happened to look good paid off with the site ranking well within weeks of launch.
